School Business Managers Forum

Group coaching case study

I was introduced to Naila through a Life/Work coaching session she did for the candidates at the Aspiring Business Managers training event I was involved in. The session was aimed at building confidence and acquiring life skills, and from watching Naila in action; I already knew that we would be booking her again.

Over the last year, we have booked Naila for the Primary School Business Managers’ forum to help with the diverse issues that we face as school leaders and throughout her session I learned so much, not just about how I could approach situations with other people in a more proficient way, but how I could look at how I react to situations. One of the many benefits of the session was coming away with strategies I can now use when dealing with difficult people and situations, empowering me to confront these issues with confidence and a plan of action.

Naila has been contracted to work in school with whole groups of staff, challenging them on where they want to be and has facilitated them to make decisions about their life and career choices. All staff found the session useful and some even felt it changed their whole outlook on their lives, enabling them to work better together for the good of our children.

I always look forward to working with Naila and it constantly amazes me how she can apply her sessions to any given situation. She seems to have an answer for everything and her negotiation skills leave me wondering how her children can possible get away with anything!
